Build resilience, focus on the positive and be happier
Hi, I am Kim Macleod, Creator of Happiness at Stress the Positive. I spent 20 years working as a Human Resources Manager in various sectors before branching out to form Stress the Positive in 2006. I am a qualified NLP practitioner, Hypnotherapist, Time line therapist, EFT practitioner, alternative therapy enthusiast and positive thinker.
Tragically in October 2007 I lost my beloved son, Calum to meningitis and my world was plunged into darkness. Determined to help my family pick up the pieces and to live a happy life in honour of my son, I turned to my knowledge of NLP, alternative therapies and positive psychology to cope with the devastation and rebuild my life. Now I teach how to create happiness in your life by sharing my knowledge and experiences of what has worked for me and the many clients I have helped to bring the light and colour back into their lives.
I have a passion for helping people understand and feel in control of their emotions I will show you how to build resilience to cope with whatever life can throw. Redundancy, bereavement, relationships, divorce, debt, exams and many more difficult issues can create or lead to increased stress, anxiety or even depression. You may not be able to control the situation around you but you can control how you react and feel. I can show you how.
Ultimately we all want to be happy so I have developed a range of options for you to increase your happiness and wellbeing. There are private therapy sessions, weekend and evening courses and my special monthly Happiness Clubs to keep your positive energy topped up.
I know that children are not immune to stress and anxiety issues. My daughter was only 8 when her brother died and I saw firsthand how difficult life could be. I have helped her and many other children find their own routes to happiness so if your child is struggling have hope they can easily learn how to be in control and feel better.
Building resilience, increasing positivity and happiness is just as important for organisations.
